MMOF, sustainable actions lead to big changes in the SME-ecosystem.

Our Mission

When speaking of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, we think in possibilities and create opportunities. We exist to make funding and skills available for economically viable and socially and environmentally responsible SMEs, which are key for job-creation in low-income countries.

Our Purpose

We want SMEs to grow faster than the local industry average and for them to gain a competitive advantage. The fundamental change we bring with the MMOF model is the concept of scalable services provided to SMEs to meet their needs on the operational level. This supports in making them investable companies. We encourage a wider industry adoption to help solve the missing middle challenge by collaborating with trusted partners and creating an enabling ecosystem.

Our Vision

We create a world where sustainable SMEs grow into impactful and investable companies.

Creating a more sustainable future

In high income countries 60% of the jobs are provided by Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs). In low income countries the corresponding figure is only 30%. Small companies are lacking skills and capital for growth, and the phenomenon is called “Missing Middle”. We see the “Missing Middle” as an opportunity to create decent jobs in a sustainable way. We select the most responsible companies and help them grow sustainable larger companies. We provide the selected companies both financing and business development supporting services at attractive rates.
